Hyde Out
Hyde Out

A distinct world where reality finds solace with human emotions, where the unseen but felt is brought to life, is exactly what this kaleidoscopic venture is about.

We start this journey with a moment of self-reflection as the narratives of 'Oblivious', a track that seems to tear down every pre-existing set-up society has provided us with. A food for thought, every verse on this one will leave you pondering your life. With power-packed tracks like 'Games We Play' and 'Firefly', the focus gets distributed to the subtle funks of the backdrop.

'Dedicated to the Ones Who Want Me Dead' is a dark and haunting track that stomps down on the haters who always try to sabotage your dreams and never want your true happiness. Destroying their will for evil will shatter their bitter thoughts.

'Power-coated penguin in undisclosed location' is a numbing face-off with one's reality, where absolutely everything comes flashing in front of their eyes. This is dystopian, cold and hard-hitting, almost like the iconic 'Creep' by Radiohead. With it comes the surreal nostalgic escape of tracks like 'Bring It On' and 'Another Life', where the artist is seen recalling his golden days, hoping to reunite with those experiences in another reality of his life. Funk-glorifying tracks like 'Kryptonite' and 'Cityscape 49' almost catch your attention with their daunting commentary on the reality of monotony that everyone is trapped in, where the music and grind is all one can find escape in.

Last but not least, we end this masterpiece with the dynamo of two epic numbers, 'Go High' and 'Oblivious(reprise)'. Where one is almost taken away with the power of angst and guts in one, they will almost start daydreaming with the other. Overall, I enjoyed this album and I believe it's a grounded and refined breeze of freshness everyone must experience.
