Talia Grace captures the incessant languor of being a human in "Soliloquy"

Talia Grace's prodigious background helps us understand the acumen she possesses in her musicality as she composes stunning songs which have a certain slice of life quality to them. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Talia began her spiritual connection with music when she was merely 7 years old. She continues to keep that spiritual connection intact and transfers the same to her listeners through her minimalist, hard hitting compositions with an innate talent to speak transparently about the human condition.

"Talia's songs feel more like conversations, the ones you might have upon discussing some deeply philosophical ideas while on a walk with her. The message and the lyrical impunity in her compositions are amplified through the vast range of her vocals and beautifully arranged instrumentals."

The word "Soliloquy", which happens to be the title of Talia's latest single refers to when a character in a play speaks his/her thoughts aloud while being in the spotlight, alone on the stage. The track takes off with a smooth piano instrumental which stays on this track through the entirety of it, complimenting it with mellifluous chord progressions. Talia takes you to this place, with ever so changing atmospheres and vulnerable feelings. The minimalist production helps her vocals to take control, embedding the deeply cynical and struggling path of the person who leaves themselves open to anything and everything. The song does a great job at documenting the feeling of alienation and betrayal.

A song that will take you into a deep into spiralling thoughts and contemplations, will also show you the light that somehow manages to seep itself into the dark. Definitely give this one a listen if you are into artists like "Bon Iver", "Angel Olsen" and "Phoebe Bridgers".
