Step into the funky and fire-packed tunes of Rosetta West's brand-new release 'Night's Cross'! Hailing from the vibrant state of Illinois, Rosetta West is a rising force to be reckoned with. Founded by the songwriter and visionary Joseph Demagore, the one-man army handles vocals, guitars and keyboards. Comprising of Joseph, and Jason X on bass and keyboard and Nathan Q on drums and percussion, their sound is a fusion of psychedelia and world folk. It has lyrical themes that delve into the vivid themes of mysticism and spirituality. From many critically acclaimed hits out already, let's see what this one has to offer!

A fascinating contemplation of death and loss that is neither morbid nor depressing, this canvas of artistic daring is too good to be true!

Starting strong, we enter this album with the adventure-packed melody 'Save Me'. What feels like a trailer to only a portion of upcoming excitement, the artist's charming voice and dramatic riffs in music just feel like a cherry on top. Yet another track that deeply resonated with me on this album was the ultimate serenity number 'Diana'. An instrumental masterpiece that feels like a predicament to someone worth remembering, this is almost daunting, mysterious and captivating in the most astonishing manner possible.

'Ready to Go' on the contrary starts with a surreal solo, serving as a reminder for one to always be grateful for where they came from. The funk of the album returns with 'Baby Doll'. Celebrating the charm and beauty of his beloved, this is a tribute to a love that stood past the test of time and thrives under any circumstance. Channeling the bold, classy and fierce image of romance in our heads, this separates itself from the usual ideas of romance.

Overall, I fell in love with the compelling story-telling landscapes of this rock album and would personally recommend this as a must-listen for anyone who enjoys rock.
