Kyle Preston is here to dive deep into celestial mysteries with his latest tune compilation, "Fear Not Water"! Offering sanctuary to weary souls with his music, Kyle Preston emerges as a cosmic wave in the ambient music scene and is a force to be reckoned with. With his song Marina gracing Spotify's Ambient X Playlist and his singles 'Fathom' and 'We're All We've Got' making it on Spotify's classical new Releases and Transience playlist, he also goes by the pseudonyms of Rubric or Variable Star, and continues to venture into LoFi music space as Ambient Astronaut and Aigein. With so much talent under the cape of one maestro, let's unravel the mysteries of 'Fear Not The Water'!

Breaking down the shackles of the ordinary, this is a dreamy embrace of multi-dimensional visions and is a food for thought.

We begin our soul-searching with 'Ocean Drifter'. A journey of navigating through the odds of time and circumstance, this is reflective of the deepness of oceans while also explaining how calming it is. The next track that caught my eye was 'Fear Not The Water' feels like a liberating notion of survival, where one is trying to branch out of their insecurities by facing them. Metaphorical of the fact that one must face their fears and not run away from them, will immediately put forth a narrative of courage.

We succumb to face our odds and fears with the melodies 'Tide Pools' and 'The Pull of the Deep'. These feel like a celestial endeavor of letting go of what's holding you back and how daunting and at the same time magical it could be. One goes through the bipolarity of sad and rad in these tracks, trying to run away from the pull of bad energy. When one finally makes it to the leap of victory, they encounter 'Coral Castles'. Putting forward an imagery of an oasis seen in reality, this is like a fever dream that one wouldn't want to wake up from.

Last but not least, we end the traumatic pathways of mortality and get 'Reborn as Art'. This is every living soul's dream come true and provides them a chance of immortality. Overall, I found this album very surreal and so will you!
