Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Andre Zimmer is an emerging electronic artist attempting to carve his name on the wall of history in the music industry. This talented DJ and producer is next on CRYME’s newly launched label SEVEN. Making waves throughout the last six months, Zimmer has counted multiple BBC Radio 1 plays and found fans in Dan Shake, Folamour, Job Jobse, and Interplanetary Criminal, among others.

With several new releases in 2024, the artist has also launched his own label, Big Trouble Records, and has also released a second EP on Shall Not Fade, a remix of Purple Disco Machine, and a mix through Peggy Gou’s Gudu outpost.

Brewing and bashing of brilliant bars and beats: Andre Zimmer's "Wait a Minute" is a cathartic musical journey set to resonate with listeners.

A four-piece EP sheltering Andre Zimmer's latest experimentation and exploration of the Electronic music genre - this newest release, "Wait a Minute," is a marvelous voyage that brings through unexpected artist pairings, off-beat remixes, and B2Bs that you won’t hear anywhere else.

“I really wanted to capture that faster, chuggy, pacey style of House while still incorporating classic hip-house vocals, breakbeats, and rave piano rhythms. I’ve always loved tracks in sets that aren’t overly complex but make use of every element involved,” states Zimmer about the EP, expressing his approach to mixing and conceptualizing the groovy music style.

With an intense 909 kick driving under a propulsive bassline, the EP's title track begins and sets the standards for the rest of the proceeding records, which is way up high in the clouds. Drawing inspiration from the Berlin house scene, it serves one purpose: to galvanize dance floor energy.

With speed garage influences and infusing those with a distinct 90s tech house vibe, "Ice Lolly" creates a magical soundscape with highs and lows. And coming to the end, "Round Two" shapes out to be the perfect ending for this immaculate set of songs - it satisfies all the criteria for a hit House project and leaves you insatiable at the same time with its delicious rhythms.
